The Labcut 5000® Series saws cut up to 55 mm material thickness and are available in two standard models and one economy, accommodating cleared panel sizes:

Designed specifically for cutting and testing composite materials with automation that saves time and improves results. The Labcut 5000 Series CNC fence allows multiple specimen cuts without user intervention.

With its stainless steel internal cladding and panel work, the Labcut 5000 series is designed to withstand harsh working environments. Large access doors make it is easy to clean and maintain. The rugged chassis provides a stable platform for highly accurate cutting.

Precision Cutting

For optimal performance and precision cutting, we supply a range of recommended cutting blades, coolants and filter bags.

Using the appropriate cutting wheel is critical for precision cutting and accuracy.
The use of cutting fluid* is always recommended for the highest quality cut surface.

Extec has developed a range of blades to cover cutting requirements across a wide variety of laminates. Additionally, while our general purpose blades are suitable for most needs, we offer custom-designed blades to achieve the best surface finish in specific material cutting applications.

*In some cases the use of lubricant is not possible so we’ve developed a range of continuous rim (diamond) cutting wheels for both wet and dry general purpose cutting.
